Magnum Thomas Gaulding, 34, of Kansas City, KS passed away Monday, July 20, 2015 at home. Magnum was born on February 11, 1981 in Englewood, CO to parents William R Gaulding and Linda A Gaulding. Magnum lived most of his life in Kansas. He was a 1999 graduate of Shawnee Mission South High School and attended college at Baker University. Magnum has been an Operations Manager and employee with ITS Technology and Logistics at the BNSF Railway Intermodal Ramp for 15 years. A selfless and hard working man, Magnum was liked by all who knew him and would give the shirt from his back to anyone in need. He will be loved and missed.
Magnum was preceded in death by his father William R Gaulding, grandfathers, William Gaulding and Alfred D. Grice, and step-grandfather Joe Breitenstein. He is survived by his mother Linda A Gaulding and brothers Shawn M Walker and wife Kim, and William S Gaulding (Sam) and wife Gayle. He is also survived by nieces, Ashley Walker and Stephanie Walker, nephew Alex Steininger, grandmothers, Betty Gaulding and Lucy Breitenstein, and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
All services for Magnum are private and under the direction of his family. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in Magnum’s name to Great Plains SPCA at www.greatplainsspca.org. Cremation arrangements under the direction of Johnson County Funeral Chapel of Overland Park, KS.
