Susan Margaret Malland, 65, of Lebo, KS, and formerly of the Kansas City area, passed away on June 18, 2013.
Susan was born September 23, 1947 in Streeter, IL, to Charles and Geneva (Parker) Sampson. Susan was active in the beauty industry with her husband, Peter Malland in the Kansas City area and owned Style International. Susan was an animal lover, an avid gardener, a great cook, and a good friend to all.
Susan is survived by her daughter, Amber Malland of Lebo, KS, her father, Charles Sampson, Lebanon, MO, two sisters, Phyllis (Mike) Notorangelo of St. Louis, MO, and Dr. Charlene Burton Rhinelander, WI, and long-time friend, Dr. Janet Morgan of Overland Park, KS. Susan was preceded in death by her husband, Peter Malland. Susan would like to thank the many good friends that supported her over the years.
The family will receive friends on Sunday July 7th, 2-4 PM, to celebrate Susan's life, at D.W. Newcomer's Sons Johnson County Chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
