Mallorie K. Trausch was born and passed away on October 1st, 2009. Our Precious Mallorie was diagnosed with anencephaly in utero, creating an outpouring of love and support from family, friends and strangers. A lifetime of memories was condensed into a few short hours; we provided everything we could for Our Mallorie. Her tiny coos and amazing little smiles will be forever etched in our memories. She flew up to Heaven on the wings of angels. We donated Mallorie's heart valves to provide two additional infants a chance at life. The Lord has blessed us and answered our prayers in many ways. We would like to express our gratitude to all the medical staff for their tender care of the Trausch family and primarily Our Mallorie. In lieu of flowers, send contributions to Saint Patrick's Catholic Church, Kansas City, Kan., or Alexandra's House, Kansas City, Mo. Mallorie's life has touched many people and is survived by: parents, Robert and Jennifer Trausch, sister, Jillian; maternal grandparents, Kevin and Joyce Zimmerman; paternal grandparents, Gerald and Mary Ellen Trausch; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and loved ones. Visitation will be at 9:30-11 a.m. on Wednesday, October 7, 2009, at St. Patrick's Church, 1086 N. 94th St., Kansas City, Kan., with a Mass of Christian Burial immediately following at 11 a.m. Private graveside services will take place in Lincoln, Mo.
