Marcella M. Leydecker, 80, Overland Park, Kansas passed away October 27, 2012. A Committal Service will be held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, October 31, 2012 at Resurrection Cemetery Chapel, 83rd & Quivira, Lenexa, KS. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to Villa St. Francis, 16600 W. 126th St., Olathe, KS 66062.
Marcy was born September 21, 1932 in Red Lake Falls, MN to Joseph and Minnie Derosier. She was married to John F. Leydecker and together they raised four children. She retired from Dillard's in Overland Park.
She was preceded in passing by her first husband, Roger Hayer; second husband, John Leydecker; and a grandson, Clifton Jack.
Marcy is survived by her children, Benjamin Hayer, Edward Leydecker, Dr. Barbara (Jeff) Smith, and Lori (Clifton) Jack; one grandchild, Kiara Jack; and long-time friend Dennis Virden.
