Mark Alan Thomlison, 36, Overland Park, passed away February 28, 2009 at home.
A funeral service will be held at 10:00 A.M., Thursday, March 5, 2009 at Westside Family Church, 8500 Woodsonia Dr., Lenexa, Kansas. Visitation will begin at the church at 9:30 A.M. A visitation will also be held from 6-8 P.M., Wednesday, March 4, 2009 at D.W. Newcomer’s Sons Johnson County Chapel, 11200 Metcalf, Overland Park, Kansas. Burial will be in Johnson County Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established for Mark’s children. Mail to Bank of Blue Valley, Attn: Mark Thomlison Memorial Fund, P.O. Mark was born September 6, 1972 in St. Charles, Missouri. He was a devoted husband of 12 years to Kellie Thomlison. He was a loving father to his two sons Jack, 8 ½ and Luke, 2. He was a deputy for Johnson County Sheriff Department for 4 years. He was a member of Westside Family Church.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Kellie; sons Jack 8 ½ and Luke 2; parents, Clyde and Janet Thomlison; sister and brother-in-law, Debbie and Dennis Bonser; nephew Josh; and nieces, Chloe, Jadyn, and Mackenzie.
