John Marshall Hutton
Marshall was born in Lawrence, Kansas on October 17, 1968 to Valerie & John Hutton, and left too soon on May 18, 2022, in Wichita, Kansas. He graduated from Shawnee Mission Northwest and then attended Kansas State University where he graduated with an Associates Degree in Business. At KSU - Marshall was a part of Delta Tau Delta and Pi Sigma Epsilon and was proud to be a part of that community. Marshall moved to Wichita in 1992 and started his life and family there.
Marshall’s favorite thing was spending time with his family and friends. He was an avid Royals and Chief’s fan, and his office and study were packed with memorabilia of both teams as well as his wall of hats. He had a love of golf from an early age, played in high school as the top golfer and later continued to play with family and friends. He loved to joke and laugh and tell stories about his antics as a younger man. His favorite book was “The Great Gatsby” and he loved to re-read it numerous times and even kept his original copy on his nightstand. He loved dogs and doted on his beautiful Golden Retriever, Cali. As a successful business man - He spent most of his career selling to the aerospace industry and loved his work as he got to travel and meet many new people.
He will be remembered for his witty sense of humor, high confidence, and ready smile.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Judith Knight Hutton, and son John Michael Hutton. He is survived by his daughter Taylor Addison Knight Hutton of Overland Park Ks, his mother Valerie Bolton Hutton of Keller TX ; and his father Dr. John E. Hutton of Arroyo Grande, CA.
