Martin C. Ward, age 57, of Olathe KS passed away on May 11, 2007 at Olathe Medical Center..
He was preceded in death by son Jeremy Franklin Ward. Survivors include his wife Deborah, son Ryan, and daughter Melissa and her husband Christian Irwin, his parents Arnold and Donna Ward, father in law Joseph K. Young. sisters Linda Miller and Karen Reimer and their families, sisters in law Marsha Cupp, Kathy Wolfe, Dawn Young, and their families, countless other friends, extended family and his beloved dogs Mattie and Jewels.
He had a great love for the Lord, he was tender hearted and compassionate to all, and was the rock that his family leaned on. He had a wonderful sense of humor and a contagious laugh. Marty enjoyed spending time with his family, serving as an elder in the Stanley Bible Church, and traveling to Branson. Marty was a sports fanatic and took pleasure in officiating sports as well as coaching his children.
Visitation will be held at Stanley Bible Church 14800 Metcalf Ave. on Tuesday, May 15 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. Memorial services will be held at Stanley Bible Church on Wednesday May 16 at 10 AM.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the American Heart Association, American Diabetes Association or Stanley Bible Church.
