Mary Louise Johnson 96 of Columbia, MO formerly of Overland Park, KS died Sunday, May 14, 2017 at Colony Pointe Assisted Living Facility. Visitation will be from 10:00 to 11:00 then services immediately following at Johnson County Funeral Chapel and Memorial Gardens of Overland Park, KS.
Mary was born October 3, 1920 to Guy D. Solomon & Mary Jo (Dodge) Solomon in Moberly, MO. Mary married Stanley E. Johnson July 2, 1945.
In 1946 with their love for designing they opened Johnson Upholstering & Interiors. In 1982 they sold their business and retired. After retiring her & Stanley traveled and did some interior decorating from home. In April of 2012 she moved to Columbia, MO to be closer to family.
She was a member of Country of Club Christian Church.
She is survived by her nephew Dan (Val-Rae) Solomon of Columbia, MO and many other nieces & nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband Stanley, her brother Lawrence Solomon and her parents.
