Mrs. Mary Robertson

Mary Anna Turner Robertson, age 87, passed away on June 18, 2013. She was born in St. Joseph, MO on September 8, 1925. Mary Anna met the love of her life, Jack Robertson, when she was fifteen and he was 20. They married when she was 22 after Jack completed his service in the Army and his law degree. Jack and Mary were married for over 63 years when he passed away in April 2011. They requested to have their ashes mixed together and to be buried in the same plot to be together forever. Jack and Mary are survived by their three children: Janet D'Ercole, Marcia Robertson and Doug Robertson (wife Linda); five grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
In keeping with their wishes there will be no funeral or memorial service. Instead please join the family for a celebration of their lives at D.W. Newcomer's Sons Johnson County Chapel, 11200 Metcalf Ave., Overland Park, KS from 3 to 5 pm on Sunday, June 23, 2013.
In memory of their lives the family suggests contributions to North Care Hospice House, 2800 Clay Edwards Drive, North Kansas City, MO 64116.
