Maureen Wilson, "Mom", "Grandma Bear", "Grandma Grandma", 90 years old, passed away peacefully Saturday, September 22, 2012. Visitation will be held 9:00 AM Thursday, September 27 at D.W. Newcomer's Sons Johnson County Chapel, 11200 Metcalf Ave, Overland Park, KS 66210. Graveside services and entombment will follow at 10:00 AM.
Maureen was born October 4, 1921 in Butler, MO and lived most of her adult life in Overland Park.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, E.J. Wilson and three sisters and one brother. She is survived by two sisters; Jeanette Jennings and Mary Lee Grant and one brother; Curtis Carroll. Maureen had four children; Judson (Kathy) Shepherd, James (Daleen) Wilson, Shirley (Anthony) Gagliano and Barry Wilson. She had seven grandchildren; Rachele Zade, Christine Waters, Tarah Kent, Jaime Wilson, Layla Wilson, Kelley Smith and Casey Matthews. Also eight great grandchildren; Cole and Jordan Zade, Jack and Josie Waters, Ryan Kent, Eva, Connor and Liam Smith.
Maureen will be greatly missed by all those that loved her.
