Melba Rawlings

Melba Lucile Rawlings, 99, of Leawood, Kansas passed away on August 27, 2016 at her home. She was preceded in death by her parents Edith and Ray Wilday, husband, Howard L. Rawlings, brother Johan (Jack) Wilday; sisters Pauline Darling, Claribel Parks, and Joyce Mason, and great grandson Cameron Chana.  Melba is survived by her sister, Phyllis Davidson and children Shirley Linton, Ronald Rawlings, and Sandra Ginther, seven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.  Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, September 17, 2016 at 3:00 p.m. at Christ Community Church (Leawood Campus) at 14200 Kenneth Rd., Leawood KS  66224.  Memorial donations may be made to:  Saint Luke’s Home Care & Hospice at saintlukesgiving.org/hospice or call 816-932-2252.  Condolences may be made online at www.johnsoncountychapel.com, Johnson County Funeral Chapel, 11200 Metcalf Ave., Overland Park, KS  66210.
