Melissa Ann (Coon) Overbee, 45, of Grandview, MO passed away on September 12, 2015 at St. Luke's Hospital. Melissa was born May 26, 1970 in Des Moines, Iowa to Jan and Chuck Coon. She loved her church, Summit View Church of the Nazarene and attending their Bible Studies. She also enjoyed beadwork, but most of all she loved her Boxer dog, Baby, and boy, is she spoiled!
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Clyde and Anne Coon and Don and Josie Parker.
Melissa is survived by her parents, Chuck and Jan Coon; two sisters, Heidi Coon and Janice Moher; one brother, Matthew White; 2 nieces, Maghan Potts and Danny Moher and a nephew, Trey Potts and many aunts and uncles.
A memorial service will be held 1pm on Saturday, September 19, 2015 at Summit View Church of the Nazarene, 801 W. 97th Street, KCMO 64114.
