Michael D. Craney, 49, Overland Park, KS passed away Saturday, March 8, 2008. Mike was born September 13, 1958 in Kansas City, MO. He graduated from Shawnee Mission North High School in 1976 and was self employed as a painter. Mike loved his family and was an avid sports fan.
He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas G. Craney. Survivors include his mother, Betty D. Craney and sister, Kelly J. Doree.
Visitation will be 2-3 p.m., Thursday, March 13 at D.W. Newcomer?s Sons Johnson County Chapel, 11200 Metcalf. Funeral services will immediately follow at 3 p.m. Interment in Johnson County Memorial Gardens. Memorial contributions may be given to Alcoholics Anonymous or D.A.R.E.
