Michael Wood, 67, passed away April 23, 2015 in Kansas City, Missouri. Michael was born in Wichita, Kansas on January 13, 1948. He joined the Army in 1968 and was discharged in 1974. Michael was stationed in Korea the whole period where he attained the rank of Sergeant and trained to be a computer operator. He received training through Federal Civil Service for computer systems analyst for USMC Central Design in Kansas City, Missouri; and worked there for 31 years until he retired in 2005. Michael was preceded in death by his father, William Daniel Wood and mother, Freida Belle (Culbertson) Wood. There will be no funeral services.
