Mildred "Millie" Burns, age 87, Leawood, Kansas, went to be with the Lord, Friday, June 12, 2009, at The Atriums, where she had lived for the past three years.
A celebration of Mildred's life will be held 10 a.m. Monday, June 15, in the chapel at The Atriums, 7300 W. 107th St., Overland Park, Kansas.
Mildred was preceded in death by her husband, Robert H. Burns. She is survived by her two daughters and their families, Linda Edgar and her husband Alan, grandchildren Jeffrey and Emily, all of Yorktown, Indiana; Susan Wiglesworth and her husband David, grandson Robert, all of Lenexa, Kansas.
