Mrs. Mildred Marie Burroughs

Mildred Marie Burroughs, aged 85 years, passed away on Saturday, March 13, 2010 at KU Medical Center. A graveside service will be held 11:00 a.m., Friday, March 19 at Johnson County Memorial Gardens, 11200 Metcalf, Overland Park, KS. Memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Greater Kansas City in lieu of flowers. Mrs. Burroughs was born August 23, 1924 in Kansas City, MO. Mildred Marie McGain graduated from Southeast High School in 1941 and worked throughout her life. She married Stanton C. Burroughs on May 12, 1951, and together had 9 children. Stanton preceded her in death in 2002. Mildred Marie is survived by seven children, Mark, Matthew, David, Brian, Maura, Sheila and James; four grandchildren, Evan, Keaton, Mark Jr. and Abraham; and one sister, Roberta Ring. Arr: D.W.
