Loren M. McCreath, 85, passed away on August 12, 2013. He was born in California, MO on July 29, 1928. Loren worked 36 years as a steel inspector for Armco.
He was preceded in death by his sister Ann Cundiff and a grandson, Shawn Hall. Survivors include his wife of 23 years Carolyn McCreath, of the home, a sister, Altha Rhoads of Cameron, MO, daughters; Sandra Hall, Kearney, MO and Patricia Gray, KC, MO, a son, Dennis McCreath, Cameron, MO, stepchildren; Brian Jones and Melissa Molteni of O.P. and Jennifer Vacca, Stilwell, KS, 8 grandchildren, 8 step-grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
A visitation will be held from 5 to 6 pm with services beginning at 6 pm on Wednesday, August 14, 2013 at D.W. Newcomer's Sons Johnson County Chapel, 11200 Metcalf Ave., Overland Park, KS. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Harvesters or to the Dream Factory.
