Morris "Moe" Mallow, 76, of Leawood, KS, passed away Sept. 9, 2013, after a courageous fight against cancer. Visitation will be Thursday, Sept. 12, 6 -8 pm, in the sanctuary at Church of the Resurrection, 13720 Roe Ave. Funeral services will be 10 am Friday, Sept. 13 in the Wesley Chapel at the Church. Moe was born in Richland, MO, grew up in Waynesville, MO and spent most of his life in the Midwest. He attended Central Missouri University and spent a brief time working in California, before returning to KC and finding work as a printer. He built a successful printing career that spanned 51 years and included B&C Printing Company, where he was a founding partner, and Excel Printing Services, which he founded, owned and operated. Moe enjoyed the simple things in life – fishing and golf were two of his favorites. He was active in his church, where he made many wonderful friends and memories. Above all, Moe loved his family, especially his 11 grandchildren. Many often commented that he was born to be a grandpa. He is loved and will be greatly missed by his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his brother, Kenny Mallow. He is survived by his wife, Linda Haas Mallow, his loving source of support, comfort and care throughout his illness. Other survivors include siblings Robert Mallow, Vernon Mallow (Vonna), Jean Straub (Victor), Marion Mallow (Wanda); daughters Lisa Mallow, Leslie Mallow Mason (Curt), Kelly Mallow Christian (Doug), Kendra Mallow; step daughters Pam Valentine and Laura Moore (Ryan); and grandchildren Alexa, Cammie, Quinten, Emily, Peyton, Mia, Ben, Elizabeth, Riley, Jackson and Elison.
