Mukhtiar (Steve) Singh Grewal of Leawood, Kansas, passed away to eternal rest on the morning of November 25, 2016. Steve was born in Village Jhande, Punjab, India. After immigrating to the United States and graduating from the University of Kansas, Steve and Deepi settled in Kansas City. Steve’s professional career was marked by radical success. For more than three decades, Steve was a distinguished developer, contractor and real estate investor. A self-made man, Steve built his businesses from the ground-up, premised on the fundamentals of hard work, client service and developing deep personal and business relationships. His projects were a source of great pride and have, and will, endure the test of time.
Steve is survived by his wife, Deepi, his eldest daughter Sangeeta, son-in-law Rahul, grandchildren Zara and Armaan, and his youngest daughter, Monica, son-in-law Blake, and granddaughter Arya. Steve’s generosity and loving spirit were outweighed only by his radiant love of God, and his undying devotion to family and friends.
