NANCY M. BUTLER
Nancy M. Butler, Overland Park, Kansas, passed away suddenly on December 16, 2010 at her home.
Nancy was born on October 14, 1934 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to Jack and Hilda Goelzer. She moved to Chicago as a young child and lived there until she married the love of her life George and moved to Overland Park in 1964. She is preceded in death by her husband George E. Butler of 52 years. She is survived by her daughter Kim Georgie and son-in-law Ed Georgie of O’Fallon, Missouri, daughter Kerri Meyer of Overland Park and her four precious grandsons Matt and Hank Georgie and Jack and Ben Meyer.
Nancy will be remembered by her family and friends as a loving caring person who was always there for anyone who needed her. She found joy in cooking and spending time with her family and many dear friends.
A visitation will be held at 10:00 am on Wednesday, December 22, 2010 at Atonement Lutheran Church, 9948 Metcalf, Overland Park, Kansas. Funeral services will follow the visitation at 11:00 am followed by a luncheon at the church. Nancy will be buried at the Johnson County Memorial Gardens, 11200 Metcalf, Overland Park, Kansas directly following the luncheon.
She will be missed beyond words and will forever live in our hearts. And most of all, her radiant smile will never be forgotten.
