Nancy Irene Donahue (Hershey), 72, was born September 10, 1943 in Moberly, MO. She passed away peacefully in her sleep 7/1/2016. She had 1 brother Lloyd Hershey who preceded her in death in 1999. Her husband recently passed December 26, 2015. She has 2 children Suzanne Morse (42) of Payson, AZ and Michael Donahue (30) of Overland Park, KS. She has 1 grandchild, Shyenne Fowler (17) of Payson, AZ. She also leaves behind Tuxedo, her feline friend of 15 years.
She was raised in Keytesville, MO graduating from Keytesville High School in 1961. After graduating she moved to Kansas City with her girlfriends. It was while living with her friends that she met Jim. As the relationship started to grow he was drafted into the Army. She waited for him while he was in Vietnam. In May 1966 they married, they would go on to be married just shy of 50 years when he passed away this past December.
She worked for many years doing bookkeeping. She resided in Overland Park, KS nearly her whole adult life. She enjoyed spending time with her kids and granddaughter.
Celebration of life will be held at Conroy’s Public House 5285 W 95th, Overland Park, KS 66207 Wednesday July 6, 2016, from 5:00pm to 7:00pm
