Neal was a member of St. Agnes parish in Roeland Park for 40 years, where he and Corena raised their children. When he and Corena retired and built their dream home for the family to enjoy in Warsaw, Mo., they became members of St. Ann's parish. While dedicating much of his time to the Knights of Columbus and the maintenance and care of St. Ann's over the past few years he remained dedicated to his family and friends. Neal was a generous and kind man. He was always open and honest with everyone he met. The humor that he imparted on the people that knew him was always remembered when they walked away. His way of giving a person a nickname when he got to know them was his way of making that person know that they would be remembered by him. His own nickname, "Fast Eddie", will be remembered by the countless friends and relatives who came through the open doors of the family home.
