Nickolas Francis Riddick Timmons, age 22, passed away on June 14, 2017. Nick was born August 5, 1994 in Atlanta, Georgia, to Kevin and Dana Timmons. Growing up Nick loved to play sports, always on a baseball, basketball, football, or soccer team. Nick graduated from Blue Valley High School in 2013. He moved to Lawrence where he became a Jayhawk. Nick was funny and anyone who knew him was blessed with laughter. He was the guy that everyone wanted around just because they knew he would brighten the mood. He could quote any movie and sing any song at the drop of a hat. He was loved by many people and will always be remembered as “the funny guy”. His family knows he was met by his great-grandfather Riddick Meyers with Fishing rods in hand. Nick was survived by his mother Dana, father Kevin, loving sister Jennifer, step-mother Annie, step-siblings Carson, Ella, and Josie, maternal grandmother Claudia Courtright, maternal grandfathers Thomas E. Hydrick and Francis W. Petit, paternal grandmother Philomenia Timmons, paternal grandfather Dr. Richard Timmons, Aunts Sarah Nobles, Callie Hydrick, Brenda Timmons, Uncles Greg Timmons and Billy Nobles. The memorial will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday June 19, 2017 at Church of the Resurrection.
