Mrs. Nina Larma

Nina F. Larma, 83, of Olathe, KS, formerly of Omaha, NE, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, September 22, 2009. She was born on January 29, 1926 to Clarence and Gertrude (Fanning) Pennell in East St. Louis, IL. On July 26, 1944, she married John L. Larma in East St. Louis, IL. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Nina is survived by her husband John, one daughter, Jackie (Ray) Johnson of West Warrick, RI, and three sons, John II (Nancy) Larma of Overland Park, KS, Kerry (Marge) Larma of Omaha, NE, and Jeff (Rhonda) Larma of Overland Park, KS; twelve grandchildren; and fourteen great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, September 25th at 10:00 a.m., at Ascension Catholic Church, 9510 W. 127th Street, Overland Park, KS 66213, with burial following at Johnson County Memorial Gardens, 11200 Metcalf Avenue, Overland Park, KS 66210. Visitation will be on Thursday, September 24 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at D.W. Newcomer’s Sons Johnson County Funeral Chapel. The family suggests that memorial donations be made to Cedar Lake Village, in memory of Nina Larma, 15325 S. Lone Elm Road, Olathe, KS 66061.
