Nina Graziano

Nina M. Graziano, age 84, passed away on November 28, 2014. Having lived her entire life in the great Kansas City area. Recent years were spent at Lamar Court Assisted Living, and Stratford Commons Memory Care.
A memorial mass will be held at 10:30 am on Friday, December 5, 2014 with visitation beginning at 10:00 am at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church, 7444 Main St Kansas City, MO 64114. Private inurnment will be at Mount Olivet Cemetery. Nina would request donations be made to a charity of your choice.
Nina was born July 6, 1930. After graduating from Manual High School, she was employed at the County Club Dairy and later spent over 40 years at Kansas City Gas Services Company and Westar Energy holding a management position in Human Resources.
Following retirement, Nina spent many years as a volunteer at the Nelson Art Gallery. She was active in her church, supporting several Catholic charities. Her interests included her family history and genealogy, including visiting her ancestor’s home village in Sicily. This interest also led to her frequently taking courses in the Italian language. Among her other activities, she enjoyed reading, playing cards, politics and local community theater.
Nina is preceded in death by her sister Marie Keller. Survivors include her sister Virginia (Chuck) Wingo; cousins Vincent (Pam) Coletti; Larry (Chris) Colletti; Gregory (Debbie) Colletti; nieces, Anita Mitchell; Janice (Dan) Kellerman; Kathy Wingo and Teresa (Steve) Barnett.
