Nina F. Larma, 83, of Olathe, Kan., formerly of Omaha, Neb., passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family Tuesday, September 22, 2009. She was born on Jan. 29, 1926, to Clarence and Gertrude (Fanning) Pennell in East St. Louis, Ill. On July 26, 1944, she married John L. Larma in East St. Louis. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Nina is survived by her husband, John, one daughter, Jackie (Ray) Johnson of West Warrick, RI, and three sons, John II (Nancy) Larma of Overland Park, Kan., Kerry (Marge) Larma of Omaha, and Jeff (Rhonda) Larma of Overland Park; 12 grandchildren; and 14 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 25, at Ascension Catholic Church, 9510 W. 127th Street, Overland Park, KS 66213, with burial following at Johnson County Memorial Gardens, 11200 Metcalf Avenue, Overland Park, KS 66210. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 24, at D.W. Newcomer's Sons Johnson County Funeral Chapel.
