Noah Anderson passed away on August 1st, 2023, from injuries sustained in a bicycle accident. Per his lifelong wish he was an organ and tissue donor.
Noah was born in Independence Missouri on December 5th, 1982, and came to Bill and Sue’s arms, becoming a loving son for 40 years.
Noah traveled to the beat of a different drum and his journey through life was well accomplished.
He graduated from Belinder elementary school, mission Valley Junior High, and Shawnee Mission East, where he lettered as the Football Manager. He trained for two years in trade school and had certificates in Facility Management and Construction. He held positions in those fields.
Noah was an Eagle Scout, a member of the Order of the Arrow and Shaman in the tribe of Mic-O-Say.
He was awarded the presidential gold medal for his volunteer service.
Noah loved his family and cherished his grandparents Bill and Dorothy Corcoran and Ray and Beth Anderson; his parents, Bill and Sue Anderson, brother, Matt Anderson, Sister and brother-in-law, Samantha and Jordan Taylor (children Boston, Vesta, and Archer), his sister and brother-in-law, Hannah and Nick Reed (daughter Lily), his daughter, Elizabeth and ex-wife, Megan. His kindred spirit was his aunt Ann Corcoran, and he loved his many aunts, uncles, cousins, and nieces and nephews. His lifelong friend, outdoorsman and bicyclist was Brett Armstrong. His wonderful childhood mentor was Arletha Williams.
Noah was Catholic and as an adult his church was the great outdoors and nature. He felt great peace camping, hiking, and cycling.
There was never a kinder, gentle, loving and thoughtful man than Noah Anderson. He always had a smile and hug for you.
He will be dearly missed.
We wish to thank the first responders and the compassionate staff and physicians at Overland Park Regional Medical Center as well as the exceptional staff of Midwest Transplant.
Noah blessed many lives with his organ and tissue donation.
Peace to all who knew and loved Noah.
