Norma died on June 8, 2008, due to complications from Mantel Cell Lymphoma at the age of 74.
While living in Wichita, Kan., she was the Assistant County Treasurer for Sedgwick County until relocating to Lenexa in 1998 at which time she became an active member of Merriam Christian Church.
Memorial services will be held at Merriam Christian Church, 9401 Johnson Dr. Merriam, Kan., on June 13, at 11 a.m.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert S. Allen of Wichita. Survivors include her son, Ron Allen; daughter, Trudi Wenger; her four brothers; one sister; and seven grandchildren.
Contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society; Kansas City Hospice and Palliative Care; or Merriam Christian Church Memorial Fund.
