Norma Herzog

Norma Herzog, 98, passed away peacefully on the morning of October 1, 2022, at the Lakeview Care Center in Lenexa, Ks.  Norma was born July 5, 1924 in St. Louis, Mo. Norma and husband Fred moved to Prairie Village, Ks in 1954.

Norma was preceded in death by husband Fred Herzog, her Granddaughter Jennifer  and Step-Grandson Blake.

Norma is survived by her Son, Ted Herzog, Daughter-in-law, Vicki and Granddaughter Lindsay Herzog.

Norma owned and operated “Norm’s” BBQ Restaurant in Riverside, Mo for over 40 years. In 1992 she was awarded the Entitlement of Honorary Lifetime Director of the Greater Kansas City Restaurant Association. After retiring from the Restaurant business she volunteered her services to Shawnee Mission Hospital for 21 years.

Norma was a resident of Lakeview Village in Lenexa, Ks for 11 years where she enjoyed playing pool, Domino’s and visiting with her friends.

Norma’s spunky attitude and her zest for life will be missed.
