Olen F. Orr, 91, of Overland Park, Kansas passed away on Sunday, December 12, 2010. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 16th at 11:00 am at the D.W. Newcomer’s Sons Johnson County Indoor Mausoleum, 11200 Metcalf, Overland Park, Kansas, 66210.
Olen was a WWII veteran and worked for Santa Fe Railroad as an Engineer and retired after 32 years of service.
He was preceded in death by his wife Bess, brothers Omery Orr, Quinton Orr and sister Audney Blair. Survivors include his son Duane K. Orr & wife Jody of Olathe, Kansas, daughter Patricia Murley of Denton, TX, brother Calvin Orr, sister Ercie Porterfield, and many loving grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
The family suggests contributions may be made to the Salvation Army.
