Mrs. Ora (Babe) Lundy

Ora Metta (Babe) Lundy, 93, passed away June 8th, 2010, at the Pinnacle Ridge Nursing Home. A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday June 26th, 2010, with a reception for friends and family from 1:30-2 PM, followed by a Memorial Service at 2 PM at D.W. Newcomer’s Sons Johnson County Chapel, 11200 Metcalf, Overland Park, KS. Mrs. Lundy was preceded in death by her husband of 72 years, Loren Lundy. She is survived by daughter, Sharon Lundy; son, Sherman Lundy (Beverly); two grandchildren, Paul Lundy and Carolyn Platek (John) and two great grandchildren, Hadley and Harlen Platek. Mrs. Lundy was a homemaker and former Asstant Manager of Leighter’s Clothing Store. The Family wishes to thank St. Luke’s Hospice and Pinnacle Ridge Nursing home for their support and care. A special thank you to Esther Carrillo, Joyce Foreman, Dr. Kristie Baker and Cheryl Pinkerton.
