Mr. Otis Tucker

Otis Lee Tucker passed away on September 15, 2013 at the age of 83. He was born in Amsterdam, MO. Otis was in the United States Air Force for 12 years. After leaving the US Air Force he became an Air Traffic Controller working in Olathe, KS until his retirement in 1975. He was Exalted Ruler of the Elks and a member of the Shriners, Masons, VFW, American Legion, and Eastern Star. Otis loved golf. Otis is survived by his wife of 55 years, Karen, daughter, Judith Elmborg, 3 sons, James, Frank, and Jack, 9 grand-children 3 of who are currently serving our nation in the US Marines, and 12 great-grand-children 1 of who is currently serving our nation in the US Army. A Memorial service will be held at 10 am on Tuesday, September 24, 2013 at D.W. Newcomer's Sons Johnson County Chapel, 11200 Metcalf Ave., Overland Park, KS 66210. Burial will follow in the Johnson County Memorial Gardens.
