Pamela Ferguson

Pamela A. Ferguson, 74, of Kansas City, passed away on September 20, 2018.

Born in Hastings, NE, she was the daughter of Aubrey and Patricia Stevenson.  She graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln with a Bachelor’s Degree in Education and later went on to earn a Master’s Degree in Library Sciences from the University of Southern California. She was a Librarian for the Johnson County Public Library for over 30 years.

Pam was a member of St.Thomas the Apostle Episcopal Church and a passionate supporter of several charitable causes. She was also a great patron of the cultural arts. She enjoyed time with friends going to plays, museums, movies, and was an exceptionally avid reader.  Pam loved long walks and spending time with her family.

She will be remembered for her beautiful smile, outgoing optimism, independent spirit, and tremendously kind heart.

She is survived by 3 children, Ashley Ferguson, Sara Ferguson, and Scott Ferguson.  She was predeceased by her loving husband of 23 years, John J. Ferguson.

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, September 25 at 2 p.m., at the Johnson County Funeral Chapel, 11200 Metcalf Avenue, Overland Park, KS, 66210.
