Pasumponni Karuppanan

Pasumponni Karuppanan, a loving mother and a beloved wife, passed away on July 28th at Kansas City Hospice House after a prolonged battle with cancer. She is a double Masters degree holder in Molecular Biology at the University of Akron, worked as a Cancer researcher at Cleveland Clinic, and was a Senior IT Analyst in Oracle Database; admired and appreciated by her co-workers for her intelligence and problem solving skills. She was an orator and poet in her native language Tamil and had been the past President of Greater Kansas City Tamil and Cultural Society for many years. She had been a resident of Overland Park for over 25 years.
