Patricia Ann (Rates) Carson, 81, passed away quietly on July 23rd. Pat was born on October 28, 1934 to Clifford and Opal Rates. Visitation will be held Tuesday, July 26th from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the Johnson County Funeral Chapel, 11200 Metcalf. Funeral services will be Wednesday, July 27th at 10:00 a.m. at the Johnson County Funeral Chapel. The family invites you to a luncheon immediately after the service, followed by a graveside service.
Pat was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband, Bob, of 57 years; her children Scott (Vicki), Jeff (Helen), Christie Goebel (Greg) and eight grandchildren - Lindsay & Meredith, Grace, Emma & Jacob, Samantha, Kyle & Ann. In Lieu of flowers the family requests contributions to the Olathe Medical Hospice House or William Jewell College Athletic Department.
