Patricia E. Davies, 77, of Lee’s Summit, MO passed away on Saturday, July 25, 2009 at Kansas City Hospice House. Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Thursday, July 30th at Colonial Presbyterian Church, 9500 Wornall Road, Kansas City, MO 64114. Private burial in Johnson County Memorial Gardens, Overland Park, KS. Visitation will be 1-2:00 P.M. at the church prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to Colonial Presbyterian Church or Kansas City Hospice and Palliative Care.
Patricia was born on November 22, 1931 in Mexico, MO. She was a graduate of Missouri Valley College. She taught elementary school in Johnson County for 24 years. Patricia married Donald Davies on November 27, 1954. She loved traveling and art. Patricia will be missed by many. She is survived by her husband, Donald Davies of the home; son, Dave (Sharla) Davies, Lee’s Summit, MO; daughter, Amy (Ben) Davies-Vigil, Estes Park, CO; and grandchildren, Maggie, Emily, Ian and Leah.
