Mrs. Patricia Kay Miller

Patricia (Pat) Kay Miller, age 79, of Overland Park, Kansas passed away on September 26, 2013. Funeral Services will be held at 11 am on Wednesday, October 2, 2013 with visitation beginning at 9:30 am at D.W. Newcomer's Sons Johnson County Chapel, 11200 Metcalf Ave., Overland Park, KS. Interment to follow in Oak Lawn Memorial Gardens, 13901 Blackbob Rd., Olathe, KS. Pat was born November 25, 1933 in Kansas City, Kansas. She was a loving Christian woman who was married to her college sweetheart and devoted husband, Ray, for 58 years. Together they reared three daughters and were excellent role models for their grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her church was an integral part of her life where she taught Sunday school and worked with the children for many years. Through the years, she worked at several places including the H.D. Lee Company. Pat was an extraordinarily loving woman who will be greatly missed by friends and family, but they will be comforted in knowing that she is with her Lord and Savior in heaven. She was preceded in death by her parents, Kermit and Elizabeth Gallagher, her brother, James, and her daughter, Kathryn Miller. Survivors include her husband, Raymond Miller; 2 daughters, Mary Cavenee and Lois Cain; 2 brothers, Robert and John Gallagher; 7 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
