Patricia R. Tanner, 72, of Shawnee Mission, passed away peacefully on May 3, 2009.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 6, 2009 from 6-8pm at D. W. Newcomer’s Sons Johnson County Chapel, 11200 Metcalf, Overland Park, KS 66210. Funeral will be held Thursday, May 7, 2009 at 10am at the chapel. Burial to follow at Johnson County Memorial Gardens. Memorial contributions may be made to Kansas City Hospice House, 12000 Wornall, Kansas City, MO 64145
Patty was a fun loving person and was loved by everyone who knew her. She was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Bobby and a sister, Jo Francis Callia. She leaves behind a daughter, Paula Taylor; two sons, Thomas and Timothy and his wife Regina; five grandchildren, James Taylor, Katie, Sarah, Paula Joe and Lindsey Tanner; one great grandchild, Gracie and two brothers, Tom and Bob Lindsey.
