Patricia "Pat" Pedersen

Pat, age 89, passed away peacefully at the home of her daughter Becky Pedersen after a long illness from COPD. She requested to be cremated with her ashes buried next to her husband at Parkview Cemetery in Hastings, NE with a service held at a later date.

Pat was the youngest child of Arvid and Minnie Anderson and grew up on the family farm. She graduated from Minden High School in 1949 and then earned her cosmetology degree and owned a beauty shop for many years. She married Merle Pedersen in 1951 and raised their family in Hastings before moving to Bentonville, AR to start a business. They retired to the Kansas City area and celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in 2001.  Following his death in 2002, Pat moved into the Santa Fe Towers where she enjoyed many activities with her friends. Her sense of humor and hearty laugh will be missed by all.

Pat is survived by her children Ronald Pedersen of Lakeside AZ, Debra and husband David Bonneau of Kansas City, MO, Becky and husband Conrad Conoley of Overland Park, KS; grandchildren Danielle and Alyssa Bonneau, Jessica Conoley, Jeremy and wife Holly Conoley, and their children Katlin and Mackenzie; niece Cheryl Coyle and family, and nephew Clark Abrahamson and wife LaVon and family.
