Patrick James Conway, passed away peacefully, September 17, 2015, surrounded by his family. He was born September 8, 1946 in Ankeny, Iowa, the only child of James Conway and Clara Hildreth (Conway). Pat was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his daughters Leeann Reed and Jamie Belford; grandchildren, Stephen Reed, Amber Reed, Holly Reed, Rowan Belford and Piper Belford. Visitation will be held at 1:00PM, memorial service at 2:00PM on Monday, September 21 at Johnson County Funeral Chapel & Memorial Garden, Overland Park, KS.
Pat was a loving father and grandfather to his family. He was an avid supporter of local athletics in his community for over 3 decades, cheering young athletes in their endeavors, with his time and unyielding encouragement. His love and energy for local athletics is only surpassed by the love for his daughters and grandchildren.
Pat loved to travel with his family and friends. On the beach he would often ask if the tide was coming in or going out out. The tide may be rolling out for you father, grandfather, cousin, friend but it is soon coming back in with the legacy and the impact that you left with your family.
