Patsy T. Kadel, 83, passed away Thursday, April 21, 2016. She was born Feb. 5, 1933 in Coleman County, Texas, the daughter of William Dennis and Roxie Mae (Smith) Titsworth. Patsy was a watercolor and acrylics artist and owned her own art studio. She was a past member of the Kansas Watercolor Society and also had a passion for writing. She loved to play bridge and was a Bronze Life Master and loved to travel the world. She was a member of Johnson County Young Matrons, where she helped them start TLC in Olathe, KS. TLC is an organization that provides shelter and social services to children and youth who are facing abuse, neglect or family disruption. Patsy was preceded in death by her husband, James O. Kadel in 1997. Survivors include her children; Carol Hughes (Joe), Barbara Hadley (Tom), Dave Kadel (Dana), Dennis Kadel (Kristin), a sister, Elva Rios, 4 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
