Patsy Ann Hartung

Mrs. Patsy Ann Hartung, age 80, most recently from Overland Park, Kansas, passed away on January 21, 2018.  Patsy was born on November 8, 1937 in Muscatine, Iowa, and was the oldest daughter of Stanley and Izola Carey.  She is survived by her siblings Judy Boyd (Pat), Susan Ladd (Chris), and Tony Carey (Layne).  Patsy loved family and cherished her five children: Patrick Moran (Tess), Mona Moran (Ivan Veselic), Bryan Moran (Christine), Heather Moran Mansfield (Jackson), and Mindy Ayers (Tony). Patsy was preceded in death by her second husband, James Hartung, her brother James, and her parents.  She was the beloved grandmother of 14 and great-grandmother of 2.  Patsy loved traveling and lived in many states over the years; one of her favorite places was Vedauwoo, Wyoming.  The family wishes to thank The Forum at Overland Park for being a warm and loving home these past few years.  Private family services will be held at a later date.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.
