PAUL J. DORING
Paul J. Doring, age 76, of Overland Park, Kansas, passed away on February 23, 2010, at the Forum of Overland Park. He was born January 19, 1934, in Kansas City, Mo., son of Harry J. and Loretto (Morrissey) Doring. He was a graduate of Rockhurst High School class of 1951. He served in the United States Seventh Army occupying Germany October 1954-July 1956. Returning, he went on to graduate from Regis College in Denver in 1958. He spent most of his professional life as a salesman and owner of Doring and Eyer Co., manufacturer's representative for the automotive parts industry. Paul was a member of Cure' of Ars parish in Leawood. He was a fourth-degree Knight of Columbus. He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Carol (Spaight); sons Tim, Spring Valley, Calif., Dennis (and Chris) of Independence, Kan., Paul Jon (and Jennifer) of Roeland Park, Kan., and Gregory (and Adrienne) of Kansas City, Mo., and five grandchildren. Funeral services will be at noon on Saturday, February 27, 2010, at Cure' of Ars, 9401 Mission Road. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Friday, February 26, at D.W. Newcomers Sons Johnson County Chapel, 11200 Metcalf; with rosary recitation at 6 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to FOCUS, the American Diabetes Association , or St. Catherine of Siena Church of Humansville, Mo.
