Paul Theodore Wyss passed away on Monday, June 28, 2010 at his home in Leawood, KS. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, July 2, 2010 at D.W. Newcomer’s Sons Johnson County Chapel, 11200 Metcalf Ave, Overland Park, KS. Interment will follow at Johnson County Memorial Gardens. The Family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Thursday, July 1, 2010 at the Chapel.
Paul was born in Fulton, MO. on October 12, 1924 the son of Charles and Freida Wyss. He lived in the Kansas City area for the majority of his life. He was the Sunday School Superintendent at 1st Assembly of God Kansas City, KS. Later Paul retired as Vice President from the House of Fabrics in 1987.
Survivors include his wife, Beverly Wyss; three sons and their wives, Ted & Judy Wyss, Gary & Linda Wyss, Randy & Kim Wyss; four step children and spouses, Charles & Linda Samuelson, Larry & Connie Anderson, Allen & Kelly Samuelson and Barbra Samuelson; 14 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren; two brothers, Kenneth Wyss and Leon Wyss.
