Peter kept a close relationship with his Wichita Robinson Junior High School friends. He graduated from the Lawrenceville School in Princeton, NJ. This was followed by graduation from The University of Kansas where he was a member of the Sigma Chi fraternity. His first job after college was with Murfin Drilling Co. in Wichita, KS. He received his MBA degree from the Wharton School of Finance at the University of Pennsylvania. He held positions at Westvaco Corp. in New York City, Pizza Hut in Wichita, KS and Dallas, TX and Director of Finance at Hallmark International in Kansas City. Peter enjoyed international travel and had many overseas friends. Peter was a true renaissance man. He approached everything in his life with great passion. He was a ravenous reader and loved history and politics. He enjoyed good wines and gourmet food. Many spirited conversations covering a wide range of topics were enjoyed with many friends at his dinner table. He was a talented writer and his frequent emails will be missed. Peter had a particular fondness for the Dunne Valley Ranch in Ashland, Kansas where his spirits were always rejuvenated.

Peter had a deep and abiding faith in Christ and loved his Church family at Christ Anglican Church in Overland Park, KS. Over the past 18 months, Peter and Christine made many trips to Houston's MD Anderson Cancer Center. These trips were made tolerable by the unbounding hospitality of their dear friends Jeff and Naomi Hewitt. In lieu of flowers, Peter's short but exuberant life would best be celebrated by helping cure chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL).

Donations can be made in his name to "CLL Global Research Foundation" on their web site www.cllglobal.org or by mail at CLL Global Research Foundation, Dept. of Leukemia, Unit 428 UTMD Anderson Cancer Center, P.O. Box 301402, Houston, TX 77230-1402
