Peter M. Wallace passed away at his residence on March 23, 2010 in Overland Park, Kansas.
Peter was born on July 1, 1974 in Junction City, Kansas to Heinz and Linda. He was a graduate of Chapman High School in 1992, and then from Kansas State University in 1997. He married Stephanie Kay Decker on May 17, 1997 in Junction City, KS. Peter worked as IT Business Consultant for Microsoft Corporation where he retired in 2004. He loved movies, video games, and playing with the kids.
He is survived by his wife Stephanie, daughter Brittany and son Bryce of the home. Also by his mother Linda (Lilly) Copeland and stepfather Gary Copeland of Leawood, Kansas, his father Heinz C. Wallace and stepmother Pam Wallace of Junction City, Kansas. Survived also by his siblings Melissa Ice & husband Steve, Chris Wallace and Sara Wallace, his grandmother Luise Ryan, two step brothers, two step sisters, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and many extended family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents Leo and Evelyn Lilly, Robert Ryan, and uncle Bernie Lilly all of Junction City.
A celebration of life will be held at the Copeland’s home on Thursday, March 25th from 5-7 pm for family and friends. A memorial gathering for family and friends will also be held at the 1st Christian Church, 1429 St. Mary’s Road, Junction City, Kansas on Saturday, March 27th from 2-4 pm. Please bring a memory of Peter with you for our memory book. In lieu of flowers, charitable contributions may be sent to the Wallace Scholarship Fund c/o KSU Federal Credit Union, 2600 Anderson Ave., Manhattan, KS 66505.
