Phillip R. Hoffman Jr. was born June 9, 1950 and went to be with the Lord on June 18, 2015.
Phillip R. Hoffman Jr. was preceded in death by his father, Phillip R. Hoffman Sr., and mother, Linn Hoffman.
He was survived by: Amy Davidson (daughter) and Troy Davidson (son-in-law), grandchildren – Amirah Aldewick; Nadiah Aldewick; Abrianna Aldewick; and Colton Davidson of Greenwood, MO; and Amy’s mother Phyllis Hoffman of Lee’s Summit, MO. Phillip was also survived by his partner of 25 years, Hank E. Koehn and family of Overland Park, KS.
Phillip was born and raised on a farm in El Dorado Springs, MO. Moved to Kansas City in 1965 and attended Westport and East high schools. Phillip was employed with BCBS of KC for 2 years and 7up/Snapple for 43 years.
Visitation will be held at Johnson County Funeral Chapel, 11200 Metcalf Ave., Overland Park, KS 66213, from 6pm-7pm, on Monday June 22, 2015.
