Mr. Phillip Kevin Mullane

Phillip Kevin Mullane, 79, of Kansas City, MO, passed away on Aug. 22, 2010, at Kansas City Hospice House in Kansas City, MO. Funeral services will be held at 10am on Wed., Aug. 25th, at D.W. Newcomer’s Sons Johnson County Funeral Chapel at 11200 Metcalf Ave. in Overland Park, KS, with visitation at 9:30am. Burial will be at Oak Lawn Memorial Gardens at 13901 S. Blackbob Rd. in Olathe, KS. Phillip was born Aug. 14, 1931 in Kansas City to John Patrick and Helen Marie. He served as a Cpl. in the Army during the Korean War. Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Dolores Mullane of the home; daughter and son-in-law, Jeanne and David Summers of Marietta, GA; daughter and son-in-law, Patricia and Todd Wilkinson of Overland Park, KS; grandchildren Ryan and Jenna Summers of Cary, NC, Michael Katz of Overland Park, KS, Paul Summers of Marietta, GA, Mason Wilkinson and Aubrey Wilkinson of Overland Park, KS; sister Julie Davis of Leawood, KS; nieces and nephews; and a host of dear friends. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations to the American Cancer Society.
