Phillip Ralph Arnoldy, 79, of Overland Park, Kansas passed away November 16, 2021.
Phillip was born in Springfield, Missouri to Thomas Elliott and Eunice Elizabeth (Golden) Arnoldy, Sr. He grew up in Shawnee, KS, and attended St. Joseph Catholic Church, St. Joseph Elementary and High School, graduating in 1960.
Phil attended Moler Barber School and began barbering in 1961 at Bob Russell’s Barber Shop which later became the Gentlemen’s West Barber Shop. In July 1985, he married Linda Carrol Ballinger and in 1995 became the proud owner of the Brass Button Barber Shop. He retired in 2012 after barbering for 51 years.
Phil was preceded in death by his parents and his son from his first marriage, Phillip “Mark” Arnoldy.
He is survived by his wife, Linda, his brother, Thomas, Jr. (Maureen), Tomball, TX, his daughter from his first marriage, Tamara, his stepson, Chris (Amy) Mueller, and grandchildren; Ryan Arnoldy, Logan (Leaha) Mueller, Delcie and Sophie Mueller, all from Overland Park, KS.
A visitation will be held Tuesday, November 23, 2021 from 9:00 – 10:00 am. A Rosary will begin at 10:00 am followed by a Catholic Funeral at Johnson County Funeral Chapel, 11200 Metcalf Ave., Overland Park, KS 66210. Graveside service will immediately follow at Resurrection Cemetery.
