Ralph E. Buglewicz 69, Overland Park passed away Tuesday March 27, 2007.
Ralph was born and raised in Kansas City, MO and was a lifelong resident of the area. He was a graduate of the University of Kansas and studied in Leningrad and Moscow. Mr. Buglewicz was a professor in the Metropolitan Community College system for over 40 years. He was fluent in Russian and taught Russian studies. He enjoyed organizing trips to Russia with his students, friends and family. His other loves included animals of all kinds, camping, and fishing. He enjoyed teaching and playing the piano and was an accomplished artist. Ralph was a loving father, grandfather, brother, and uncle. He was a friend to all he met.
He was preceded in death by his parents Joseph and Alice Buglewicz and his sister Joanne Gardner. His son Eric Buglewicz, daughter Linaya Sartain, grandsons Garrett, Jared, and Luke, brother Neal Buglewicz, his companion and friend Marsha Watkins, and numerous nephews and nieces survive him.
Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Saturday March 31 at D.W. Newcomer's Sons Johnson County Chapel 11200 Metcalf Overland Park. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
